Used Machine Learning and Neural Networks to predict hourly Global Horizontal Irradiation (GHI) using only temporal features and 2 previous hour’s GHI with less than 10% error. Performed in-depth study of multiple ground weather station data along with satellite data to perform data quality checks. Identified a faulty sensor in one of the weather stations by analyzing their Bland-Altman (mean difference) plots. Performed data visualization in tableau to display various trends and patterns.
